Toying with different rear fenders and dropped this back on just to have a look. If I use it Ill alter it again. Ive never been completely happy with the side lower portion, I like the seat and fender part though.

It was the angle I took the pic at but yes that and of course the area under the seat. My original drawing had the wheel opening exposing half the tire sidewall. I might trim it back but the other problem is wheel adjustment for the chain tension will change the wheel position relative to the fender. Painting the bike a dark color will obscure that a bit too.

Different angle and lifted slightly for suspension travel.

with the shock on, it looks pretty good as-is!

i wouldn't worry about chain adjustment - set the fender with the chain tight and the minor changes you'll make won't matter. if you are ****, push the fender a tiny bit back so it'll be 'in spec' as the chain stretches the first few miles...

Idea of the day, could you make the fender/seat assembly adjustable with the wheel to keep the fender concentric to the tire??????? Slotted holes????????

That will keep you busy!!! And out of Tim's, bad habit you got there.

The idea was to end the fender behind the shock so it hid the abrupt ending. I still feel I need to connect that abrupt end to a panel that swoops up to the area at the rocker box to continue that flowing line from the tank.

Have to move it down to my shop where I have the proper tools and equipment so finish the tank, exhaust and rear section.

Jiffy stand is too long which I figured would be the case.
