im glad this thread popped back up it was enjoyable for me to read and look at the pics of when I brought it home. Since then the bike has been running great. I still struggle to kick it. It kicked easy with the old ignition and advance weights but it ran poorly. It runs good with the ultima single fire ignition but I have a very hard time kicking it.

I mostly cruise around local with it or do Sunday cruises in the hill country. I am grinning ear to ear every time I ride it. A few weeks ago I rode it to Conroe, Tx for a chopper show / camp out. it was a round trip of 400 miles and the bike ran great.

im going to try and put up a couple new pics from my phone also

I'm trying to place that particular exhaust...Not O.E. but kinda like it...Kind of a Cross between the original FX, and the 1977 XLH
Anybody recognize it??

Not sure, but it kinda looks similar to an RB Racing exhust.

Similar... But i can about guarantee there was no RB Racing Exhaust, back when that exhaust was new!!!
I remember it from quite awhile ago... Just can't place it...Jardine maybe??
