Cool story - great that you taught yourself what you needed as you went along. Nice looking bike!

I believe motorcycles tell a story... All vehicles tell some sort of story. Some have soul, some don't. This one has got soul... and a story, I want it to continue. By the way, I'll never be done working on this. I'll always pour money into new parts, I'll always be in the garage. That's alright... I just want this $3500 bike to live on. I would rather have this than any other bike on the road. That is hard to put a price tag on.

I'm going for a ride

Just realized not_so_newb... that was probably sarcasm... apologies for the soul&story rant.

Sincere thanks to this forum for the wealth of information. I can't tell you how many times I read through posts to find the most random ****... and found it. HDForums rocks!

I enjoyed your pictures and project. I did my 79 FXEF much the same way ( down to a bare frame ) but sadly failed to take the time to do pictures. Great job"BF"
