I am looking at adding a new AMP in addition to my stock Audio BOOM AMP under the tour pack. Has anyone done this and were you able to put it in the fairing or where? I am looking at the RockFord Fosgate 300w amp. Thanks.

 

Don't know the size of the RF amp but I did install an arc 125 amp in the fairing on my 08 EG. Fit on top of the radio fine

 

I have the Rockford fosgate 4 channel and it is small.Nice amp and you cant beat the price(Amazon 150 bucks shipped)

 

How many speakers did you run it to? I am planning on running it only in the batwing for the front 2 speakers. Did you bridge it or just run it as is? What speakers did you run it to? 4ohm correct?I bought the RF PBR300X4 on E-bay for $147to my door. Now I am looking for speakers. Has anyone dealt with Kicker speakers? I had done an ARC amp and speakers on my old 05 ECG and it rocked, but just wanted more thump, but not crazy like.

 

Well, just got the amp and speakers dropped in and hooked up. MAN they rock!!!! Had to pull the XM radio out for the amp would not fit in the fairing atop the XM and CB. Made my own bracket for the amp and it is secured. I put Infinity Kappa 65.11i's along with a RockFord Fosgate PBR300x2 amp. BANGS!!!!
