Default Help - 13 CVO Road King trade for 10 CVO Ultra

Bought a 13 CVO Road King and love the ride, but wife hates not having all the comfort bells and whistles of an Ultra like we used to ride.

I have the opportunity to trade our 13 CVO RK for a 10 CVO Ultra that has 20K miles on it; is there anything about an older CVO I should be concerned about when I go look at a possible trade?

Your help would be greatly appreciated; thanks.

Naw, not even close, the wife trade would be very costly .

The trade is gonna work out about even for us all things considered. I'm more concerned about an older CVO and any mechanical items I need to make sure I look over when we visit the dealer. I'm thinking an extended warranty might be in order for this purchase.

at 20K, lifers are the primary concern with the 110, i would get the extended warrenty.

I just purchased an ESP for my 12 CVO due to the potential lifter issue. for ESP, Kutter HD, JIm Palmer seems to have the best deal.

Why don't you just add a tourpak and call it a day?

IMO, (as a fairing manufacturer so this might be a little biased LOL) Unless the guy with the 20K mile bike, thats 3 years older, that cost about the same price new as yours is offering some serious $$$$ I would think about a fairing and tour pac for the bike you have to let the wife get what she already enjoyed from your Ultra.
Check out the links below, also know we as well as harley can do tout pacs for that bike color matched.

Had 2 Ultra's . went for a 2012 CVO Streetglide , with a tour pak . changed the seat , pegs to boards etc. My wife hates it ! not near the ride of a ultra ! Must agree ! My cvo just got wrote off ( long story , i didnt crash it either ) there was only one person in the house that had a tear in there eye ! It wasnt
't my wife ! LOL

Buy another Ultra if you want to save your relationship ! Trust me !

Just a thought as I don't know. Does the CVO have the same compensator as other 2010 models? If it does, it will be due for a change out soon.
