left side lower is incorrect so I have a new one on its way to Joe for paint.

Painted side covers are on. The alignment of the graphics are spot on (sometimes they look off in pictures), great job Joe.

The gas cap had to be cut in. This is something I overlooked when prepping the tank for paint. I cut the opening with a Dremel and applied clear nail polish to the area where I disturbed the paint. The chrome trim ring hides it al.

The gauge side is held in with little fingers that grab tabs inside of the tank. With the added height those fingers are now to long. I measured the distance down from the top and cut the fingers to match, no problems.

I needed this to remove the tank internals. I had no idea there were so many parts inside of the tank......

I pulled the seat cover and cut the pan back to fit in the tank shroud opening. I pulled the cover back and tacked it to the pan. It will need some professional attention to make it "right".
