2013 cvo ultra color question.
I'm gonna pull the plug and get one monday. My local dealer has a silver one that he will sell me under msrp.
Another dealer that I have purchased from in 2010, has an orange one coming in Dec. that he will also sell me under list.
Yet another dealer about 30 miles away has an anniversary model that I can have for msrp.
My local dealer has given me the impression he does not want to try to dealer trade for a different color for me.
I want to buy from my local dealer, but I feel like I am settling for silver, when I would rather have orange or typhoon. Not that the silver is not great looking just not my first choice. sorry for the long thread. Any opinions.

Where do you live? Here in the NE its MSRP or higher if they can get it.
Wait until you see the one that really turns your crank, whenever I've settled or jumped the gun I've found I end up making the purchase twice at some point.
IMHO for the dollars we're talking here best to get it right the first time.

It all depends on what your color preference is and what you're willing to settle for.
I was all set to buy an Anniversary Edition Limited unti I saw the color(s).
Nothing wrong with the A/E colors but just not my preference.
I lucked out and located a Typhoon Maroon S/E about an hour and a half from my home but I would have also gladly went for the Tribal Orange.
I'm sure that some folks will see the "Stardust Silver & Dark Slate & Titanium Dust with Thunderblade Graphics" and think "I've got to have that bike" but it doesn't do anything for me.
THey're all beautiful bikes but if your'e the one making the payment or laying out the cash you'd better get the one that you really like.

2AMGUY.....I was just at two dealers today to try and see an ultra in maroon or orange but both only had the red road king. Man! Those road kings looked awesome. I was trying to talk myself into one but I'm sure I would kick myself on my first trip of any length. Did you try to get your local dealer to locate one for you?
