Default SG CVO LID Speakers

wondering if any 6X9's will fit in the factory bag lids from Harley. I do not want Boom Audio. I will be purchasing stock lids from Harley and have them painted. No returns once I do purchase so I want to be sure that maybe my Fosgate 6X9's will work. Thanks in advance

I looked at mine and realized some fabricating will need to be in order. The speaker housing for the boom speakers have a built in mounting hardware. Made to the speaker. Due to the angles and screw holes it could be a challenge. I'm not saying that a average person could not make something that would work.
I think they are 5x7 speakers.
I know they are better speakers out there that are better than the boom speakers but they do sound good.

lowers change the look so much, its hard to use that as reasonable alturnitive. compared to speaker lids, just my personal opinion

hybrids 5 x 7 fit had to cut the bottom of the basket out for the bigger magnet and trim the mounting holes on the speakers and yes they make a big difference in volume and sound at highway speed

The bag speakers are for the passenger, if they can not hear them adjust your fade to the rear slightly, I have mine 2 bars to the rear. My wife can hear them great.
For me they make the system rock as compared to the lower fairing speakers, the lower fairing speakers do make a difference though.

just a thought.
personally haven't looked into changing speakers that close. As mine sounds good to us.
