Tried to trade for a CVO Ultra
Went to local stealer to trade for a 12 Ultra CVO, guess I will find another dealer. Bike list for roughly $37600 with freight, they had close to 40k ask plus some BS charges of $1200.00 for crate charges, then another $400 for dealer fees. Thats over $2500 in up charges over MSRP for the bike. Going to another dealer tomorrow to see what I can do there. Would like to be at $24,000 to trade my 06 Ultra.

Not that many people want to do this but I called out of state when I couldn't find the bike I wanted locally. Nothing to do with price just availability. However, after a few calls I found some very good deals not all that far from home. If you can handle the road trip I think you can find a much better deal. I know you have a trade-in but most dealers will agree to a value with the caveat that the bike must be as described. Good luck with your search.

Well, just a update, best deal I have found is $26,000 to trade. Not sure what I am going to do, I work in the agricultural industry selling equipment and we have had only 8/10 of rain all year. Will have to decide if i can make it work this week and either go for it or wait and see what the rest of the year brings for farm income and intern my income.

2012 CVO ultra
I traded an 2009 ultra classic with 15500 miles on it for a 2012 CVO ultra. It cost me 21500 to trade. This included new shirts and some other trinkets plus 1000 mile service. My bike had quite a few extra for whatever they are worth. I am a farmer in Illinois and we are also in a dry spell. Not as dry as you but rain would be nice.
