FullSac muffler cores
My buddy picked up a 2012 SE Street Glide yesterday. He traded in a 2010 Se Ultra in which he spent a ton of money on exhaust, engine work, and tuning. He also trades every 2 years or so. I think I talked him into me gutting his headpipe and putting on the Fullsac muffler core kit to save him some money in the long run. My question is, is there anyone using that setup or close? He is mainly looking for a good middle or the road to loud sound from the pipes. Thanks!

90% of the folks over on the CVOHarley.com forum have the Fulsacs X-Pipe and CVO cores. You have a choice of 1.75, 2.0, 2.25 inch cores, however per Steve at Fulsac, the 2.0 inch cores give the most HP & TQ and is the most popular out of the 3 choices.
Fuel Moto is another fine choice, more popular on this site. Either way is a great set up and just like oils, The choice is yours.

I run 2" Fullsac cores, Vance and Hines power dual head pipe tuned with Power Commander V. This is on a 11 RG CVO Ultra. Couldn't be happier. I often ride 2 up and loaded very heavy in the mountains. The sound is great without being obnoxious and the torque is amazing. Pulls like a John Deere tractor... Steve at Fullsac recommended the 2" over the 2.25's for my type of riding and I was pleased he did.
