Hi guys. Wondering if any of you removed the baffles yourself?? Ordered Fullsac 2" power cores today. Plan on installing them this weekend and thought I'd see what you used to grind out the spot welds. Thanks

Got the baffles out. Just took some time with a Dremmel. I chose the 2" Fullsac and Love the new sound...still very stereo friendly with a Nice throaty muscle car sound.

dear Ottosails,
I have a similar setup. Could you share your Pwoercommander map with the community?

Regards,

I had some 2.25 cores and went to the 2.0 cores hoping to be a little less noise and can't tell any difference.

I installed the Fullsac X pipes and the CVO cores (2"). They are a little louder than stock at cruising peed but they have a nice bark when you accelerate.

DX header and 2" cores. Tried the 2 1/4" at first but at 70+ mph 2 up and a touring load they got pretty noisy for me. Also have no packing at all. You will need a carbide bit to cut through the weld. Otherwise bring your lunch.

Running the Fullsac 2 inch core and for trips with wife a set of the 1.75 inch cores. She does not care for the louder baffle at interstate speed. I have their screens and packing in the mufflers so its pretty easy to change out cores. I'm also running an old Fuelmoto 2-1-2 head pipe removed from my 2011 Limited. Did not make sense to purchase a new head pipe with this one in my basement.

I gutted the CVO cans (sounds badass!), but I'm sure I lost some torque and thinking about going with FullSac Baffles.

My question is...do I need to get the bike re-tuned after installing new baffles?
