love the ultra... and since we are in a cvo site, i thought we might have some discussion as to what folks think of the cvo ultra vs the regular ultra. do you think that the cvo is worth the substantial premium that it costs over the regular ultra? (my recollection is that the cvo is about $36k and the regular ultra about $23k)

my opinion on CVO value since I used to have one. If you have to have all the features which frankly most don't but they are nice, then yes they are worth it. Things like hydrolic clutch, different cam, stainless cables etc. In the end they may hold there value a bit better but at that intial premium and I'm not so sure that holds true these days.

Definately worth it in my view. Up until last April I had ridden Ultras for the last 10 plus years. The new frame ,additional power, heated grips and seat not to mention great looks is definitely worth it to me. I recently took a trip to Canada with all kinds of weather including cold rain sunshine etc and it performed flawlessly. Without doubt Harleys best road bike.

Congratulations on the purchase; I know you'll love the bike. I have had my 09 Ultra since new (July 09) and just turned 19,300 miles and it just keeps getting better. The best advice I can give you is to stay away from this site and all the rest of us or you risk getting pulled into the "I can't stop buying things for my Harley" group like the rest of us!
