Has anyone installed Chubby's 10" mini apes on a 2009 SERG? I'd like to know if the stock cables and hydraulic lines will work? Thanks!

 

For what it's worth, they work on an 06, but it seems like I had to do some very minor rerouting to make a more direct route. Your biggest headache with taller bars on a RG is that they hit the windshield when turned to full lock.

 

Thanks Sharknose. I have a short Klock Worx windshield on my bike, so that may or may not be a problem? The ABS braided hose from the bars back to the right side cover is what concerns me the most.

 

These are 14" and they don't hit the windshield.

 

Just to let anyone know who might want to install these bars on their '09 SERG...Did not have to lengthen any wiring or hydraulic lines! Everything reached fine with a little re-routing of the hydraulic clutch hose. The front brake hose is stretched as far as you'd want to take it, so 12" mini apes will not work withouit buying hydraulic hoses!

 

I installed Yaffe 12" Mini Apes on my 2009 SERG and did not have to make any cable changes.
