Hey dll, did they hit you up over list for this? That color is clean, looks great and the red offsets it just right
Thanks for the compliment - my picture-taking skills stink but I will say the paint really pops in the sun (raining today or I'd try for better pics)
My trade $ was what is should be, and the bike was at MSRP, but we're still negotiating over some of the fees they slid in to the deal. The downside to rushing to get paperwork done.
Good to know, thanks.........sounds like they tried to add in a little more gross on the backend, take some store credit for the add ons you're going to need.
How's it compare to the SE Convertible??(as if I need ta ask ,LOL!)
Thanks!
Pluses: It's a lot more comfortable for me, I like the extra features (the stereo, etc), it handled better - turn in, lean, brake, and the motor is smoother at every speed than the 110B - far less vibration with this new system. Love the big wheels too.
Minuses: Bigges thing is that I'm still getting used to the weight of the fairing / the top-heaviness of the bike compared to the softy, more afraid of tipping it, can't strip it down like I could with the softail, and the fairing is the best design of 1968 so getting the right shield/etc to keep the buffeting down (I don't mind wind) means I have a growing stack of windshields.
Call me crazy but I've actually run the bike without the bags on, and yes it's unfinished under there but I kind of liked it. I may experiment with a quicker way to lose the lowers (the speakers make it tough) just to see how it looks/rides.
Overall I'm very very happy - 1200 miles in a week proves that!
Nice looking CVO, I'm doing the dilemma thing at the moment.....is there a reason the two lower dials don't seem illuminated in the pics, maybe they come on when the engine starts ??
Cheers
