Quite expensive up here in kanuck land. The SE heads for 99-06 were retail
$1450 and $1800 for later ones.

 

They are selling here http://www.chicagoharley.com/shop/pr...ucts_id=428460 for $1120.00, I would think anything less would be a good deal for you, I dunno about how good of deal it would be for your friend.
