Cvo paint colors
Sooo, If you really wanted to buy a 2009 or 2010 Ultra CVO but could not find the color you loved, but found a low mileage bike that was perfect except for the color, you knew you would keep this bike for a very long time. Here's the question. WOULD YOU HAVE IT PAINTED THE COLOR or COLORS YOU LOVE?

NO, no not no but HELL NO. What I would do would be to buy another set of tins and have them painted the way I wanted, install and put the originals up. You never know what is gonna happen down the road and the factory CVO paint on the correct bike holds resale better than a custom paint job that is suited for the current owner.

I would think that the tour pack would need to be the same paint scheme as the rest of the bike, so if it were me when shopping for tins I would also shop for an aftermarket tourpack, unless I could find a nice take off someone had, but I dunno never had that problem. In my quest for tins so far I still need the rear fender and tank, the side covers on mine I paln on replacing with chromed aftermarket parts anyway.
