Are Most CVO's Sold Before Delivery to the Dealerships?
I have been trying to find a Tequillia Sunrise Street Glide to see again in person. No luck in Indy and while on vacation in SW Florida no luck either. To make matters worse, in Florida I have been told they are sold before delivery to the Dealership and over MSRP ($2k-$4k). My dealer in Indy has one inbound mid May and would take a refundable deposit at MSRP. I would have 48 hours to complete the deal. Did you CVO owners here put deposits down to hold? How many 2010 Street Glides CVO will be produced?
Last time I was there, the local Albuquerque dealer still had a blue one and the tequillia one on the floor. And, yes, they want a $2K premium over MSRP (probably why they are still there). I also had a lot of mail here from other members in surrounding states (AZ and Colorado) that plenty were available at their local dealerships. Hey, do a Fly and Ride! The weather is great here now in the desert southwest!!
Every time I have walked into Ventura HD in the last year there has been at least 1 CVO on the floor for a long time. I don't pay too much attention to them so I can't give specifics, but they sure stand out against the standard HD models, they are dang pretty!!!
