2010 CVO StreetGlide Suspension??
Does anyone know the differences, if any, in the suspension on the CVO SE versus the stock SE? Dealer tells me there IS a difference but no specifics?????? I also learned today that ALL the 2010 models have a catalytic converter in the headers.....didnt know that. Any other surprises with the 2010s??
thanks!

I have the 2010 SESG
Yes, the 2010 touring bikes have the cat in the X pipe but the mufflers are not cat mufflers. I had the 09 stock SG and my 2010 SESG side by side for a while when a friend visited. We could see no frame difference just the SESG doesn't have air shocks. It has a totally different style of rear shocks.
I forget what they call them but the right shock is for resistance for the up motion and the left shock is adjustable for the downward pressure. It works well. Very smooth and handles like it is on a rail in the twisties. It has a **** you adjust to the riders and passengers weight. The scale is in the manual.
Another surprise is the new ABS software that is different than the 09's and the oil cooler is standard. The front end is slammed and the rear bags are extended.

Wiz,
I am looking real hard at the very same CVO SG you have. Do you like that paintjob?
I wanted the Spiced Rum but am told they are all gone. Local dealer has the red one and a blue one. What kind of $$ did you have to shell out? MSRP? More? Less? No trade in as I plan to keep my CVO 1999 FXR2.

When the sun light hits the TS pain it looks to be a few inches deep, 3-D, and the metal flakes just jump out at you and do a dance. Have them take the bike outside so you can see.
Now, This is my choice and yours should be a personal choice. This is one he!! of a machine. Not my first rodeo with a SE bike or other Harley.
Some dealers are getting MSRP + (up to 4 grand +). I gave MSRP because I am a good customer, they wanted 2 k over.

My 2010 Road Glide came with that shock on it. A customer who bought a CVO Street wanted air shocks so they swapped shocks with my bike before I bought it. I didn't know it until I got the bike home and went to check the air in the shock and found out I didn't have air shocks. Called the dealer and they had to investiage as my bike came from their sister dealer.
They are listed in the new accessories on their web site. $499. I got them at no charge. I guess they are ok and I have no complaints. If nothing else I don't have to worry about a shock leaking down the road. Took me awhile to figure out how they work as they are not in my owners manual.
