Same bike, same problem. I think my problem is mostly age related. Don't know if you are experiencing that problem or not?? Those darn lights are just to small.

The gauges are sealed, however they can be changed. The spun gauges do make it harder to see the idiot lights. The engine light and 6th gear, as well as the security light are actually colored Leds, the only filter under the gauge face is a diffused clear overlay. I changed my security light to green when I changed my gauges other LED's. Changing to a higher power Led would greatly increase visibility.

Thanks. I was just trying to see if this was a proplem on my bike or are all 2010's this way. Do you know the size or shape needed to fit and what is the output rating on the old lights so I can replace them with something brighter. Maybe the replacement LED lights for the 2008 will fit in the 2010. Think I will call the dealer today.

the replacement led's for the mini gauges can be purchased here
http://www.superbrightleds.com they are just replacement units for the stock bulbs, any of them will be a lot brighter than the stockers. The LED's for the speedo and tach are a bit more complicated than that, they have to be bought and soldered into the stock locations.
