Default Am considering a CVO Fat Bob, but...

Am considering a CVO Fat Bob, but am concerned about the reliability of the SE 110" engine (overheating issues, plugs misthreaded, etc...). It's not going to be a garage queen, my bikes get ridden (1000-1500 miles per month).

How widespread are problems amongst the CVO community? Is the 110" as reliable as the 96" motor on the standard Fat Bob?

I'm real particular about maintenance, just don't want to deal with any factory issues. Just want a bike I can jump on and go.

I have seen some of the 09 SE bikes well into the 20k miles range and they seem to be fine. My 09 FatBob only has 1300 miles but no issues and runs like a top. I think they have worked out most of the issues. I am happy and not worried about it. Buy it and get the extended warranty if you are worried, then enjoy it.

Have an '09 CVO Ultra that I have had since may. Almost 20,000 miles and none of the issues you are concerned about. Remember you only hear from the riders with problems, not the other 90+ percent. buy your CVO FatBob and ride,ride,ride...

I was having some minor issues with my 07 Softail with higher temps but put on a oil cooler and it lowered my temp by at least 15 degrees.
