stage 2 103 vs cvo110
I have been told by several people that I would be better off buying a new 2009 road glide (96ci) and having a stage 2 103ci upgrade, instead of a 2009 cvo road glide with a 110.
I've also been told that the stage 2 103, runs better, more performance and alot less problems. SO MY Question is, is this a bunch of bull or is it true??????????

So, on to the motor. The 110's had a issues when they first came out however, it seems they've finally got a handle on that with the 09's. That's based on what I read on the CVO forum.
Power wise, I was surprised that they didn't have more power, stock. No, I don't have a 110" CVO. Mine is a 103" CVO and it has Vance & Hines Pro Pipe, FCC gear driven cams and an Arlen Ness Big Sucker, HD Race Tuner and Fueling Rivera oil pump and it pumps 104 HP and 113 TQ.
I ride with a few of the guys with 110's and with similar mods they're where I'm at or a little above.
A stock 103" (CVO) and a 96" motor that's built to 103" are not the same motor. Know that, going in. Look in the dyno thread and you'll not see a 96" that's been built to 103" with the same mods as mine pumping the same numbers.
I'd just suggest that you wait till 2010 unless it's a Road Glide that you're bent on. In that case, go over to the CVO forum and look in the selling section......I think there are a couple of 09 CVO for sale already. Might find a heck of a deal there.
