HP&TQ Of the CVO 110
#13
09 SE Fat Bob with 2 into 2 V&H Big Radius and a TTS Mastertune....92hp and 114 torque. could be better I thought but respectable. I was surprised to see the torque number so high but everybody really has to consider that your bike will get different numbers on different dynos. But everybody new that.

Just had my 09 SE Fatbob into the dealer this morning for a SE Pro Super Tuner and a Dyno. Had the work done at Paradise HD in Portland, OR and was very happy with the professionalism of the tech. I was allowed to be there for the whole process. He told me the goal should be to adjust the fuel mixture for good performance and longevity, and hopefully cool it down a bit, and let the horsepower and torque numbers fall where they may. That sounded good to me cause this thing has been burnin' my pants leg off. As expected the engine was running a bit lean (15-16). A target of 14 was the recommended dyno setting for both efficiency and performance. After 5 or 6 runs he had it running just slighty rich at about 13.5 throughout most of the rpm range. At the end he printed out the horsepower and torque curves to be 97 hp and 121 ft-lbs, which were higher than both of us expected. He said he was going to keep my map in his program for the next one that came in. On the way home it ran great. Can't say I noticed a change in power but it definitely ran smoother and cooler, but then it was only about 70 today. Pushed the dipstick button and it showed 227 degrees. I've yet to see anything under 260.
By the way I installed Rush slip-ons with 1.75 inch baffles the night before and they sound great. A nice deep purrrrrrr... No other engine modifications have been made. The tech did notice a catalytic converter in the header but I'm gonna leave it there for now as it would be a real pain to get it out.

you will come close but not hit the hp number -- may want to check on a mild cam (HQs 525 comes to mind) this will certainly get past the numbers you stated.
The CVO brochure lists the torque of a 09 Fat Boy at 114.00 @ 3500 rpm. Are these factory numbers that far off? I have an 09 serg. the cvo book lists it at 115.00 ft pds @ 4000 rpm. I can't find any horsepower nymbers stock from factory. I'm going to be real dissapointed to spend $2500 on pipes, tuner and dyno and not hit 100 hp and more than 115 torque!

Numbers
I've had my 09 SEUC super tuned twice by two different tuners. I'm not happy with the low numbers 108/89. But I can't really complain either. I've got 28K on this CVO with no issues (knock, knock). I removed the CC's, put on a K&N AC, ThunderCone slip ons. It pulls away from a stop so smooooooth, it's been to 145MPH on the GPS and get's 40+ MPG (below 80). The other day I ran off a Boxer and he was still in my mirros when I shut it down at 105.
I think my numbers are low and I'm sure I could get more out of this. But I keep wondering why. It runs sweet and there's always a faster one out there.
My Two Cents!

The most that 89hp is gonna push that bike is around 120-125 mph. Its good to hear your bike runs smooth but your claim that it does 145mph makes all your other views suspect.
