For those of you who've already taken ownership of your '09 CVO Road Glide, how is the seat fitment? Someone mentioned last week that they noticed a huge gap between the front of the seat and the gas tank console, and today when I took a look at the demo model at a local dealer I noticed the exact same gap. I mentioned it to the girl working the floor and she thought it was on purpose - but I can't believe that.
How does your seat fit? No gap, or big gap?
Also, just out of curiosity, what exactly does the "Speaker" switch on the switch console do on these bikes? There aren't any rear speakers, or an intercom system, so the switch seems pointless. Is it for future rear speakers in a tour pack?
My 09 has no gap the seat is right against the dash, im guessing the bike you saw was adjusted improperly, The speaker switch is to accomodate a head set.

Good to know, thanks. Where would the headset plug in, we were looking for a jack/socket and couldn't find one.
The gap on mine is just under 1/4". Tolerable, but still annoying. For $33K+, you would think they'd have done a better job and caught it at one of the QA inspections.

Have you approached your dealer about getting the seat changed out?
I have some, but I prefer that to the seat touching the tank, I most likely will go with a Mustang solo when they are available in Jan. anyway....... PS where is the box that is supposed to be in the left hand corner that says "Embed Picture in post" ????
