Default 09 SE Road Glide

Has anyone had experience with replacing the windshield on the new SE Road Glide? I have one available at my dealership and am thinking about a trade but will not want to ride with the shorty wind screen that comes on it from the factory?

I'd think it should screw on like the stock windshields.

I have had mine for 2 weeks today and love it!! I have it parked right beside my '08 RG and I'm very sure that the windshield would fit off of my '08...Sherm

I saw a number of guys w/ RG's buying the new "Flare" windshield from Klock Werks while up in Sturgis.

Flare Windshield

Looks unique, might worth a look?

Are you planning to change the SE wind screen? I am thinking the stock RG windshield with the chrome ad on available to cover the rubber and screws. Problem I see is I dont think it will look good, what do you think? Could paint it or powder coat it black , think that would look better?

The placement of the windshield screws are the same on the SERG as all other Road Glides. Choose a windshield that works for you and go for it!!

A friend of mine has a 08' anniversary RG, his windshield is cracking around 2 of the screw holes. I guess the factory cranked down a little too hard. Warranty is putting a new one on. Be Vewy Vewy cawful !!!

Default 2009 cvo rg

I just picked up my 2009 CVO Road Glide, and I you better make sure that any after-market windshild does not hit the mirrors in the fork locked position. Clearview is working on a fix for this that I hope will be available soon. I took the shorty off mine & put a friends stock RG shield on until Clearview comes around. I like the Clearview as they are stonger, are two inches wider, and have the recurve.
