If your HD Dealer has not heard about the modification...it is not a recall...download this Blog and bring it to the service department.&nbsp\\; it just went out.&nbsp\\; They need to receive what they are calling an UPGRADE KIT before then can do the work.&nbsp\\; My HD dealer said this blog was faster than what the get from HD Headquarters.&nbsp\\; FXDSE2

Talked with my dealer today, said he would have kits in three or four weeks. No leaks to date!

There is a fix for the lead between the clyinders, they ream under the center bolt and install a sealing washer, worked great on mine no problems.

Thumbs up 2007 seuc

I am scheduling the head fix for my bike with 9500 miles on it. As part of the work was planning on installing new cams. Dealer suggested SE 251's, has anyone upgraded their cams on the touring SE's that can offer an opinion as to which SE cam to upgrade to? I would appreciate any opinions anyone has.

My dealer called, told me my 110 conversion needed the gasket fix. It's there now, on reassembly they found some issue with the ECM, checking with HD monday to see if the extended warranty covers it since I have the race tuner..??

Needless to say I'll be there Mon AM as soon as their doors open to discuss the issue since it ran perfect until it went in the shop...

I just returned home from a 1,400 mile trip on my 08' SEUC up to Vermont. I've got 3,700 miles on her so far and have had no problems whatsoever. Bike's production date was sometime between May-Sept. 07'.

I hadn't heard anything about these issues until now. Just checked my VIN and got the dreaded:

Product Notice: 0905: PRD PGM: 07/08 CVO 110 HEADS
Recall Notice: 0135: 2008 FL TOURING FILTER SHELL

The fuel filter recall letter came this past week while I was away. I called my local dealer this morning. I was turned away as they're holding the first wave of filter kits for bikes purchased from them. I asked how they could do this when it's a safety issue and they would not give in.

I then called the dealer it was purchased from and got an appt. for Saturday for the filter inspection/replacement. They suggested I wait until the winter to replace the heads & gaskets if I am not having problems now because they are so backed up and it's a 10+ hour job to fix. He said the only problems people are seeing with this is oil leaks and one guy stalling out. He also suggested doing performance work when they do the head work since the factory is paying to pull the motor.

I guess I better check my bike on HD's site tonight. I had my oil leaks fixed on my 110 kit over the winter. So far so good - 4k miles and no more leaks.

The center bolt leak fix someone mentioned - the dealer only put sealant on mine. No leaks yet.
