2008 SE Ultra Anniversary

2008 SE Ultra Anniversary
A friend of mine ordered his SE Ultra Anniversary several weeks ago. He worked out a price with the dealer, put down a deposit, has now waited a few months for delivery. The dealer is useless in trying to provide delivery information. I can't imagine how a company that sold a $41K bike provides no information regarding customer delivery. Does anyone have any advice or has been in this situation? No wonder Harley is forecasting a down year with weaker earnings.....
Thanks,
Scott

The problem is that report noted time of arrival 6 weeks ago. I think I might try to get a hold of someone directly at Harley.
Thanks

RE: 2008 SE Ultra Anniversary
I have been looking for an Anniversary model and everyone says they are alredy sold, or want $3000 to $10,000 over MSRP.
I found a white and silver 08 Ultra SE and had a question about the lowers. In the specs at the HD web site it say "One Glovebox Located Inside Each Lower Fairing with Spring Return Lids", has anyone seen this? The SE I saw had normal covers on the lower glove box?

RE: 2008 SE Ultra Anniversary
I picked my SE 105th Anniversary Ultra right off the floor at Dudley Perkins Harley in South San Francisco. They had a white one on the floor also. They sold it to me for MSRP and took care of me on the warranty and other goodies. I highly recommend this dealership. This is the second bike have purchased from them. High Class dealership. I had the same question about the glove box
