My wife has put in many hours as a passenger on previous touring bikes and she is struggling with the rider back pad on this new seat. Not the back rest but the sewn on lumbar type pad. It comes up over the rider seat and she either has to spread her legs around it or kind of rest her hamstrings over top of it neither which is comfy for the long haul. Thinking I will need to take it to a seamstress or upholstery guy to have that pad trimmed. Is anyone else’s passenger having a similar issue?

 

Same thing here. Wife hated that seat. Wound up w a Mustang. All good now. Good luck.
