Default IPod Touch/Boom GTS Issue

Posted this in the audio section, but got very little help/interest.

Just recently noticed that the Boom GTS system on my 19 Limited CVO no longer allows me to select options by Genre, Artist, Playlist, etc from my IPod Touch.... When I plug in my IPod Touch the music starts playing (Playlist that is currently playing), but there is no longer an option to select genre or playlists. It just says "Reading" at the top and "Indexing" on the bottom and then after a few minutes I get the notification "No Playable Media Found".

Any help would be really appreciated.

Thanks
Speedy

Yes, even tried doing a complete reset on the IPod and then then updating to latest software.

When I connected my iPod to my 2020, I experienced the same thing, but also saw a message saying that older iPods were no longer compatible. I'm going to guess that Apple forced that along with disabling Car Play if no microphone is present. It all worked perfectly on my '17 with the GT radio.

My very early iPod Nano worked fine on my wife's 2017 RGS. It does not work on her new 19 RGS. It has the latest software update but is no longer supported.

Yup, the GTS radio wont recognize an ipod if plugged in directly. However, you can still bluetooth the ipod. But no playlist or tracklist on the radio.

GTS does recognize the iPod touch when plugged in. That is what my wife is now using on her 2019 RGS

True, neither of the Nano's we have will work. My touch that looks like an iPhone but slightly smaller does work fine.

I have an Ipod Touch (6th Gen) and when I plug it in the music starts playing, but there is no longer any options to select a genre or playlists. It just shows "Reading" at the top and "Indexing" on the bottom and then after a few minutes I get the notification "No Playable Media Found". Maybe only the latest generation Ipod touches will work.
