It just says "Reading" at the top and "Indexing" on the bottom and then after a few minutes I get the notification "No Playable Media Found".

my ipod touch worked perfectly as you described above that is until i updated the 12.5.5 software. No going back now you have to bluetooth. all is still there less the list of songs on individual playlist. i had multiple calls with apple on this and it is what it is.. why they mess with a good thing is beyond my comprehension..
