Default CVO HD Connect Feature Discontinued..

Received this email today from the MoCo advising this feature will be discontinued...Anyone have knowledge of the back story behind this move? Ive enjoyed using the feature over the last few months - not sure I would pay the monthly fee after my subscription renewed but it was a handy feature.

I asked my dealer about this a couple weeks ago when I noticed the tech tip from Harley.
They said that there has been a lot of problems with the system (I agree), that it never really operated the way it was supposed to, so instead of putting more money toward getting it to operate correctly, they chose to bail out. Things get a little tough, and they quit.

Sadly seems to be their way these days in more ways than just this one...no problem giving away free bikes to undeserving celebrity douches who spray paint them cuz they didn’t get the colour they wanted, but abandon the customer who shells out life savings for a bike and bail on fixing a feature used to market the sale of said bike.
Since the development cost is built into the selling price, what are the chances of The Company providing some type of pro-rated rebate for the deletion of this “feature”?? I can already hear the snickers, laughter and “ya right”...

I received my notice on Thursday. I thought it was kind of a cool feature. Not a $12.95 a month feature but maybe $5-$6 a month would be a little more reasonable.
