CVO Backrest Freedom Seat

CVO Backrest Freedom Seat
Anyone have any feedback on the Freedom Seat offered by the company that makes the CVO Backrest? I’ve had their backrest and I know a lot of members use it and like it. Seems to be competitively priced and has a gel insert, but would like some feedback before I spend $700.
Thanks

I have about 1200 miles on mine. Love the seat. I did have to mod the backrest with an additional plate to I could get more adjustment out of the backrest. The way it was, the bolt used to adjust the tilt would pop over the original plate. I brought that to his attention and he may of fixed that design flaw. Love the seat. It's a pain in the *** to bolt down atfirst since the material is stiff where it covers the bolt. But after a few times it gets a lot easier. Love you can run the backrest with or without the passenger pillion.

I ended up ordering the seat and it arrived last week. My bike is currently in the shop so it will be this weekend, or early next week before I can put it on the bike. I called and spoke to George and he was a great help. He sent me pictures of the seat with measurements to ensure I got the right seat for me. The quality seems really good and it will be interesting to see how it looks and feels once installed, George said it is high density foam with a gel pad seating area. As of last week he had an extended reach with gray stitching in stock. I got red stitching with the regular reach.
I’ll post pictures and offer a better review once it is installed and I get a few miles on it.

I’m 5”11” with a 32” inseam, George recommended the standard for me. He said the extended is for someone 6’ or taller and a 34” I seam. The pictures he took with the measure showed the regular would be most like a stock CVO SG seat. It is more narrow in the sitting area so I’ll be interested to see if it pushes me forward,

I'm currently running a Corbin seat because they are the only ones that would create a truly custom seat for me. I'm only 6', but I have a 36" inseam. So, getting a seat that pushes me back, with excellent back support, made a huge difference in my ability to ride 500+ miles per day.
I like the gel in my Saddlemen, but I still get burn in the thighs after 3-4 hours. With the Corbin Wall + Backrest, I keep on going and going and going. Well worth the $800+.

That looks really nice, makes me miss my Mako. I ended up having to send the rider seat back because the mounts were mis-lined. Should have it back tomorrow or Friday. I need it for the weekend. FYI, George was great about everything and paid all the additional shipping.
Is that the standard or extended?
