Was intending on getting a 2020 CVO Road Glide---and of course they didn't come out with one. My dealer contact [not going to say who or where as I don't want to get him in trouble] sent me a note saying HD is coming out with a midyear 2020 CVO RG this month---only available in one color [sand dune]. Personally I think it looks like crap. So here's hoping that in 21 they have a CVO RG with some better paint options.

Interesting for sure. Would this be a first for HD to release a new model mid year?

 

It is the first time in my memory but HD has started adding models this year---thus the Bronx and PanAmerica now showing up on their website.

 

The rumor has been out for over a month or so. As for Mid year release, the MoCo has been doing it for years.

I wish they would stop making the Road Glide, everyone said they would never own one in years past. NOW, every Tom, Dick and Harry has one.

the Sport Glide was a mid year release a few years ago. Released at Daytona Bike Week.

 

If you would have bought them all you could have had them all.

Only one color available ? Must be a paint supply shortage or the price of paint is to high for the MoCo. (sarcasm)

 

I didn’t realize there was no CVO RG. Yet there is a Street Glide CVO. Seems to me a CVO RG would appeal to more than the CVO SG. To me it seems the people that but the Street Glide are more into fewer bling.

A CVO without fancy stripes? Moco is really cutting expenses...

 

I doubt the MOCO would fit 2019 wheels on a 2020.5 CVO. CVO's are known for sporting the latest & greatest. Photoshopped paint perhaps?


Mid year releases are common, the FLHT Electraglide Standard was a mid year release in 2019. Not so common would be a mid year CVO, none that I'm aware of to date.
