Friend on mine is fighting this battle also, he wrecked his 18 CVO RG several weeks back, got a $43K check for it and does not like that white bike. Doesn't know what he's going to do yet, been watching him try to talk himself into it for a week now
The rumor has been out for over a month or so. As for Mid year release, the MoCo has been doing it for years.
I wish they would stop making the Road Glide, everyone said they would never own one in years past. NOW, every Tom, Dick and Harry has one.

Exactly why I got away from them. I've had a 2008 and then 2015. Got rid of the 2015 for a 2018 CVO Limited. It got the point that I couldn't find my bike in the parking lot with the 100's of other RG's! LOL It used to be that I was the only RG around when I had my 2008. I still love them and will probably have one again some day, but not in the near future.
Now that I have a Road Glide, I do like it more than my old Street Glides. Though, I have thought of selling my 19' CVO & walking away from motorcycles for the most part, but the wife keeps telling me to keep it. The sand dune color doesn't do it for me, but I'm sure for others it does.
I doubt the MOCO would fit 2019 wheels on a 2020.5 CVO. CVO's are known for sporting the latest & greatest. Photoshopped paint perhaps?
Mid year releases are common, the FLHT Electraglide Standard was a mid year release in 2019. Not so common would be a mid year CVO, none that I'm aware of to date.

I saw this post and called my buddy. He called our dealer just now, and put a deposit on the Fat Boy, it hits the website tomorrow and will be at the dealer on Monday.
