I have a RK with heated grips, I guess that would be even better. Gotta check it out. I can paint them Starlight black metallic to match my paint.

I ordered a set on Black Friday for my FBS and think the quality and look of the gaurd itself are excellent. However, the brackets supplied would bring my review from a 5 down to a 1. The brackets themselves are very nice aluminum and have a durable coating. The bad is the design of how they fit. My FBS has the turn signals on the bars so I had to get the ones with cut outs for the lights. The way they attach is with two different angle brackets which are a short and a long one. The bracket mounts between the stem base with a locking washer which once tightened is supposed to keep the gaurd in place. I think one side would constantly come loose if I were to use the supplied brackets. The cutouts do not line up which has kept me from installing them. I did verify fittment through multiple sellers, so I know that is not the issue. I am going to keep them and make my own mounts using a clamping bracket to the mirror stem which will keep me from having to remove the blinker and mirror everytime I want to add or take them off. The quality of the gaurd is excellent and I am hoping the protection will help with keeping the wind off of my hands below 35 degrees. Even with heated gloves my fingers get numb.

I’ve got the same 12” PY bars on my street glide and have been considering hand guards for the winter time. Probably pick up some el-cheapos from amazon to try out.
