Same here, I would prefer a 4.5 to fill out the saddlebag cutout better but wasnt too sure the shield would fit a 4.5.

 

I had the 4.5 s/e street cannons on my 2017 cvo s/g , I really wanted to put them on my 2019 cvo s/g because I was happy with the sound, but I want to keep the stock heat shield's. Has anyone tried this yet? My dealer said the shields will work on the 4" but I prefer the 4.5.

 

Since you have the cannons with you, why not pull one of the shields off and try it? Let us know if you happen to try.

 

I don't have the 4.5 street cannons anymore they were on my 17' cvo that I traded in. I should have taken them off and put the stock mufflers back on.

 

I wouldn't hold your breath for that picture.

 

Thinking of going with Rinehart DBX45 , my bike also has the bronze heat shields, like them but the chrome DBX wont match front pipes, would have to buy 3 chrome heat shields from a 2018 for about $82.00 each

 

Do you know for sure the heat shields wont fit the DBX's?

Sorry, I misspoke. The Cobra RacePro mufflers are 4 inch that bell out to 4.5. Here are some pics.
