Trade value is a joke
I have a 2017 FLHTKSE Stage 2 TQ cams with SE Tuner, Wild Ones 10 bars and a couple other small things. 7,500 miles and 8 months since I bought it.
Not sure I would be interested in trading but I like the look of a couple of the ‘18 colors. I stopped by the shop I trade with the most just to kick tires and look around. Really like the CVO RG so I talked about trading and right away they started with the “Hard to Get” “ Limited Production”
I know they do not consider add one in the trade value but they came back at $31,500... hahahaha that is nearly a $10,000 hit not including the add ons. I had thought maybe a $5,000 trade difference, but they are at like $12,500. They said the amount they offered would be the same on the CVO SG or Limited and it was because Harley changed the motor to a 117.
Needless to say I have no interest in trading with that offer.
Anyone getting better offers?

That’s not a great number and not a terrible number as well. The real question is does 2k-3k make the difference maybe more you selling it on your own make you happier? And I’d say 33k ish is probably close to what the dealer will get for it selling it as well. I traded my 17 CVO SG which I purchased last September 2016 and this September picked up the RG CVO. And my trade was $31K and no mark up on the RG. And go to their website to see what they are asking: https://battley.com/Motorcycles-Harl...d-a81700fe3822
At the end of the day someone will get her for 33k ish imo. And for me the new 117 and first ever RG was worth every cent or should I say thousands lost LOL.

I was just saying to my wife leasing is the best bet for people that want to trade up and don't really care to keep their bikes... I would be one to look at this option if I didn't love the bike I have now. It's hard to not fall in love with new ones when they really up the game every year.this year's CVO street glide is a wicked bike.... I'm still loving my 2015 CVO street glide but the new one is most definitely a better bike
