Default 114 to the 117

Anyone know why the motor company went to the 117 this year from the 114 last year?

Because 117 > 114. Don’t question the MoCo, just give them your money.

^^^^^^ Now that's funny as chit! Lol..

Being the CVOs are the flagship (Big $$$$) bikes, and being the 114" motors will soon be spread across the entire Big twin platform.

The CVOs gotta be a step above the standard herd of sheep's.

$20K more has to getcha something special.

I would say the bold is the reason.

Cant have a 114 in the softails and not a bigger motor in the CVO.

Heck any 114 softtail will out run the 117 CVO.

When the 120 came out never thought it would be in production bike. Guess we aren't
to far away.

The 120 is a twin cam, doubt we ever see that in a production bike.

Will we see a M8 120 from the factory in a production bike, my guess is yes in a few years.

They did it so the 18s will sump from the get go, then they can say its normal to sump and look away from the problem.

You are correct. Still a lot bigger than I ever thought it would get.
