I stopped by a dealer yesterday just outside Asheville NC? They had an 18 CVO RG on the floor. More curious than interested I ask the price. The salesperson said I'm not really sure we just rolled it out. I ask well do you think MSRP or above. He quickly said above, we sold 2 CVO SGs this week and each were 4-5k over sticker so he was sure the RG would be too.

We must have been there around the same time - I ran up there to see theirs and the salesman told me they were at $45,999 or $46,999,I can’t remember.

I ended up coming back down to Greenville and buying their Gunship Gray one they’d just put on the floor. They were at $1K over MSRP but gave me a good trade allowance. I’m happy now.

Stopped at a dealership Sunday to put a deposit down on CVO road glide gunship grey. They wanted $3400 over MSRP. No thanks! Said $1000 over. Finally got them to MSRP plus tax and title. Expected to have it in December.

Good for the dealers. If people are willing to spend the cash it helps the rest of us out on Saturdays with free hot dogs & chips.

Dealer tried to pull the 2k over MSRP crap on my dad last friday. I told him its bullshit and we walked. Got a quote from another dealer for one coming in December for 44,440 out the door. First dealer called back Saturday and came in at 44,300 out the door with the base bike price coming in at an even $40,000 (Road Glide)

They are referring to the anniversary models, not the regular CVO's. They said some dealers wouldn't even get one. I spoke with about five dealers in my area and they are not expecting to receive an anniversary model until December or January. The majority of them are already sold.

I too paid MSRP for my CVO Limited. Got it right off the truck. The dealer did work a pretty good deal for me on my trade-in.

Each dealer also confirmed that production is down for 2018 as they didn't sell enough in 2017. I saw an interesting video on YouTube about Harley's future challenges. Take a look...

Bought my 2018 CVO Street Glide in Gunship Grey at MSRP here in OZ. With only $500 increase over the 2017 model with heated grips, amp and speakers added its good value. As not many CVO's coming here most will be bought before they hit the floors.

Just curious what type of mark ups folks are seeing across our country or any luck bargaining. Also any validation that the number of released CVOs this year will be less then in the past or is this just hype?
I paid MSRP for my RG. Most dealers were trying to charge me 3 - 5K over MSRP. If you're in the CT area go see Alonzo at Mike's Famous in New London. He'll take care of you.
