J and M audio verses stock system on 16 CVO
I recently traded my 2014 streetglide for 2016 CVO ultra. I had put the J and M rokker amp and speakers in front fairing. Was big improvement over stock in the steeetglide. Does anyone have experience with changing their stock CVO set up to the j and M 500 watt amp and speakers. My biggest issue I don't want take the CVO apart and change all of it if there isn't much improvement over stock.

cmmfiremedic,
There is a significant difference between stock CVO Ultra and adding J&Ms 500 watt ROKKER XTP amplifier.
We build the complete plug-n-play CVO wiring harnesses right here at our factory in Tucson so that the install is easy and straight forward with out modification hassles.
Also no change in the Harley CVO radio flash is required.
You can contact our sales department directly at the toll free # below and we will put a custom kit together for you, using your existing 6.65" ROKKER XX speakers.

I put the J & M 500 watt kit in my 14 CVO Limited. It's definitely louder.
The sound is good but my 16 CVO Street glide blows it away. I think it could use a little more bass. Keep in mind the Stage II uses 2-300 watt amps. and costs way more to do. A friend of mine is doing it on his 15 Road Glide.
I have listened to them side by side. It's really loud and doesn't cut out like the Harley Stage II on my CVO StreetGlide.
I recommend it. The only thing I didn't like about the kit was the new amp. mounting bracket. It's well made but not for the CVO. It lacks the mounting points for some of the CVO extras. I ended up tie wrapping some modules and antennas to the bracket. It was hard to chew for me but I've gotten over it. The amp. seems well built and even has a fan built in to keep it cooled. The speakers are way better then the Stage 1 that came out. Over all, it was well worth it and would do it again.
