Its good someone has been able to get one.
I've had a deposit on a black one for almost 60 days. It was supposed to ship on Nov 11th and I'm hearing Harley has a problem and they have been put on hold for 2-3 months


Anyone have any info on this?

 

I haven't heard that. I have a deposit down on a hard candy mercury since 9/29. Not going to see the bike for a few months. Did your dealer pre order a black one that was due in? Or.... are they trying to trade for you to get it earlier for you?


Unfortunately my dealer received a Yellow one first and had a black one on order for the second one which hasn't come in it.

 

Got the silver one yesterday, like it so far. Had to change out the windshield as the stock one bobbled my head so much I wanted to vomit.

 

jpswino how much did your tour pack cost. I would like to do the same with mine.

How is the solo seat for a long day of riding ? ?

How dose it sit you on the Bike ? ?

I am thinking about putting one on my 2014 Street Glide standard.

 

Personally the seat is not that comfortable, YET! as we all know they do wear in over time and get a lot softer. I had my SGS seat modified by Mean City Customs and it surpassed the new CVO seat in comfort. I actually kept and will be using it on my CVO. And with the CVO seat, solo or not, you can not install a rider back rest...

 

I have a mustang seat on my Dyna and it is one of the most comfortable seats, now that said I test rode the SG custom and the seat was hard and I didn't like it, but the CVO seat is actually really comfortable. It is the most comfortable stock seat I have ridden. I have put 1000 miles on it in the first week I've owned it and have done 3 hour stints on the seat and still comfortable.
