Was in Truckee last year with the Mrs. (in a rented Caddy, no bike), not familiar with your route though. We took 395 South, stayed the night in Lone Pine and went across Death Valley (129* the day we went) on our way back to Vegas. Make sure you eat at the Truckee Diner, Guy Fietti (?) did his show there, Kobi Beef Meatloaf, mmm! Also a small hamburger joint he was at, located at the other side of town. Sorry I couldn't be of more help...beautiful Country though, have fun!

In a word NO.
Are you renting a bike or what??
Yosemite, Sequoia, Golden Gate Bridge, Route 1/Monterrey/Big Sur .
Can't really go wrong if you stay up in the Sierra or along the Coast
How many days do you have and how many miles a day do you like to rack up... are you a mileage hog or do you like to stop and smell the roses along the way..

I've done most parts of that route by both bike and car. That's going to be a great ride but just keep an eye on gas and don't go past a station without filling up.
Just know that there is so much to see in Kings Canyon and Sequoia that you will end up spending hours riding in and out. The backside of Sequoia down to Three Rivers is a LOT of fun. Switchbacks and steep grades galore.
*My sig pic is overlooking King's Canyon.
