Default Sedona to Bryce?

Hate to make another thread on this but it's a little different then the question on MV. I rented a bike for 3 days out of Las Vegas. I had planned on riding it to monument valley on the first day then Bryce on the 2ed via rt12. However I feel I'm trying to cover too much ground and will miss a lot of what there is to see in the area. I have a hotel booked on the 2ed night in Panquitch, UT.

Where should I go on the first night if I don't go to monument valley? I'm thinking Sedona. Then Leave Sedona and ride to Bryce but I'm not sure which route would be the most fun. Is this a good or bad idea? I hear rt12 and moki dugway out of MV would be better but I don't want to be rushed the whole time.

what do yall think?

I was just up in Utah last week and left from St. George through MV to Blanding, UT. It's a full day and we headed south via Page. Going north was not an option due to weather. From Vegas via 12 is about an eleven hour trip.

When you say going north wasn't an option, do you mean RT12? Is there still snow up there? I leave next wed. Have a room booked in Bluff, UT but there's still time to cancel that one if I need to.

It snowed in Bryce last Wednesday, that's why we missed it. I was going to ride up 12 to 24 and across on Thursday, but it was still rainy that way and went the southern route. Check your long range forecast.

Sedona is on Hwy 89A, Bryce is off of US-89. Take 89A up through Flagstaff then Turn onto 89A again at Stinking Springs, this will take you across the Colorado River at Navajo Bridge and along the Vermillion Cliffs. 89A will take you to Kanab, UT and then you can hop back on 89 and head north to Bryce. It shouldn't be a bad ride at all.
