hd_rolling--- - on RT 3 just south of the Winesquam Bridge, next to the Winesquam Market, there is a little seafood shack that has the best lobstah and chowdah around at amazing prices. I stay just up the road on the other side of Winesquam Lake.

Great tips all!

Planning to head up north about that same time myself - not so much for the festival but mostly for the cage-free ride up Mt. Washington on the 19th. Also this will be my first motorcycle camping trip in preparation for what I hope is to a be a 2-3 week tour later this year. Did 430 miles through PA last Sunday on mostly back roads so this trip should be pretty easy.

Currently Active Army with a few years to go until retirement sets me free. I call Idaho home but figure if Uncle Sam won't station me there I'll use the free moves to ride as much of the country as I can.

Looking forward to visiting the VT/NH area next month.

Default Broken Spoke Update

Broken Spoke Update:

So I got this on my FB feed today from a AC/DC tribute band called Highway to Hell who say they will be playing the Spoke for Laconia. So I guess it's opening at least for BW. Thought I'd update you...

https://www.facebook.com/highwaytohellrocks

By the way, as tribute bands go they're pretty good. They rock the Boothill in Daytona every year.

Bentleys Saloon in Arundel Maine is a fun place to go. Its about an hour and a half ride from Weirs beach.

Sweet, thanks for the update. I wonder why they are having the same band 2 nights in a row though.

Okay, here's the latest in the Spoke saga...

Because I list rally events, I really want to know wtf is going on. Their website is still dormant... nada.

So I called The Looney Bin, a bar right up the road from the Spoke and they told me it won't be opening. So I haven't a clue where the band Highway to Hell is playing as they posted they would be at the Spoke. ...the mystery remains.
