Default Ohio's Route 30-Sugar Creek, Walnut Creek and Berlin

Could anyone tell me suggestions and places where to ride and what to visit besides Rt. 30 ?. I do plan on turning off my GPS and follow my instincts out on the Amish Country Roads. Trip will be sometime in July or August.

Thanks in Advance,

Thorey

where is your destination . are you wanting to stay in amish country.
if you google south east ohio called self guided tours. be careful in amish towns lots of cages not paying attention if you are coming from the east off of 30 when you get to wheeling ride 7 south along the ohio river to marrietta ohio take 60 or 83 north to millersburg right in the middle of the amish. I prefere 83 less traffic . southern ohio has lots of nice roads

From Berlin or Sugar Creek work you way down to Coshocton on Ohio 83, visit Roscoe Village. find your way over to Ohio 93 and travel that south to Zanesville and from there pick up Ohio 555, the triple nickel, also known as Ohios Tail of the Dragon. If not this way find you way to Woodsfiled, Ohio, and then east on Ohio 78 to Ohio 536. south on Rt. 7, cross the bridge into New Martinsville, WV, south to WV rt. 20 and run that to shinnston. That will make for some mighty fine riding. Myself, I would ride the triple nickel. much longer ride and it will dump you out near Marietta, Ohio. It's all good and remember, You are only one wrong turn away from your next greatest adventure.

+2 on Jay72's recommendations. The triple nickel will have you smilin' the whole time. Make sure to stop at any of the Amish places to eat. I didn't hit a bad one in my time in OH. Also once you get about an hour south of Cleveland and into Amish country all the roads are pretty awesome.
