Thanks for the heads up on the motel...I appreciate it

I love the Dragon and the surrounding area to ride. I would like to give a few tips for safety. The first thing is if your in a group keep space of about 2 bike between you. If sport bikes approach from behind keep your line and motion them around. Never leave your lane. Most accidents happen when riders speed up because of sport bikes behind them and they cross the yellow line. Remember Harley's do not have the ground clearance and will not turn when on the frame. Be relaxed and enjoy the ride. I'm not telling anyone how to ride. I just don't like to see a good trip ruined by a accident. I have seen my share there. I also use to ride a sport bike and most regulars there will be grateful if you do this.

Did the Dragon last yr,, while I liked it,, it was really packed and for me it got old before we got through it (Hey I am OLD).. The time ridding it goes fast, seems like your done in just a few minutes and don't have time to enjoy any views. Have to keep your eyes on the road almost 100% if its busy,

Most all the roads around the dragon are great rides. good curves and lots of them while having time to enjoy the view.

The roads we have here in Indiana are mostly flat and straight, so over all the 4 guys I went with and I had a Great week riding down there.
Not that much to see on the Dragon.Need to keep your eyes on the road anyway.
All the scenery is on the Cherohala Skyway.
