Default Road trip advice!!!

Starting our trip in Iowa and then Sturgis, from Sturgis we are going to Jackson Wy. We are going to spend a couple days there. Then eventually we are working our way to Colorado Springs. Do any of you know of some good scenic roads to run on this trip?

Thanks
Dan

I think it is Alt 14 over the Bighorns going west from Sheridan. The Beartooth and Chief Joseph are there further west before you get to Cody. Yellowstone - heck it's all good compared to Iowa. I can say that having lived there most of my life.

Have a great ride!

Thanks Checkers for the web page!!! I will be getting some of those maps. I guess I was looking for some input on hwys like the 191, Jackson down to Colorado and if we should take 70 across Colorado or should we take 50. I have looked at all these on YouTube and they all look good.

Thirt8spl, I hear you on Iowa, can't go wrong on any of this trip compared to Iowa. I always tell my wife when we put 10000 mile a year here, that it is 10000 miles of nowhere.

Thanks guys for input

Take 50 across Colorado. 70 is ok for some scenery, 50 is a better ride.

Thank you QC, I have been reading that 50 is a nice ride. Last year was our first trip west and we did Sturgis and Yellowstone, so this year we are going to Sturgis, Jackson and Colorado Springs. Can't wait pretty pumped.

Thanks again

I can tell you this with certainty, Jackson Hole is pricey. Everything there costs more.

Thanks Skidder,

The whole trip will probably be high priced but I'm sure it will be a blast.
