The wife loved that ride, wasn't my favorite.

I like almost all of Utah, Bryce Canyon, Zion Park, and Hwy 89, and most of all, Monument Valley. Enjoyed riding the Grand Canyon, need to worry about the animal traffic, elk, deer, antelope, etc more than the vehicle traffic. Worse place in Utah was around Salt Lake.

I like riding from West Texas into Tucumcari and up to Las Vegas, NM, forget the highway, then on up to northern NM around Taos and up to Chama and then over to Colorado through Pagosa Springs to Ignacio and Durango. Many more I can't think of at this minute, but will post them as soon as I can remember.

This one wasn't bad. Did it westbound in '98 and going to do it eastbound in '14

Favorite rides....

1. Million Dollar Highway..so nice I had to ride it twice
2. Chief Joseph Highway then turn onto
3. Beartooth Highway
4. Going to the Sun Road, Glacier National Park, Mt.
5. Needles Highway, South Dakota
6. Mount Washington, New Hampshire

BUT my absolute favorite areas to ride is the Deals Gap/Robbinsville/Maggie Valley area and Colorado. The Moonshiner, Dragons Tail,Cherahola Skyway and on and on. The whole area of North Carolina, Northern Georgia and up the Blue Ridge is road after road of good riding. As amazing as the Blue Ridge Parkway is each road off of it is better then the last. You can't make a wrong turn anywhere in the area each road is amazing! What I love about Colorado is not only the roads, the mountains and the scenery it's the speed limits. I like to ride fast and dropping off the mountain passes down into the valleys with speed limits of 65-70 on the two lanes you can blast through sweeper after sweeper with little concern of getting a ticket.

My biggest disappointment of the roads I've ridden probably is the Kancamangous Hwy. in New Hampshire. It's a nice enough ride but the pavement isn't very good and compared to the other places I've ridden it wasn't anything special compared to the build up it was given AND the other riding in the area. The area itself is amazing with the White Mountains and the various 'notches' you can ride. The whole New England area New York, Vermont, New Hampshire and Maine are a unique area into itself and unlike any area in the country.

My avatar pic was taken at the 9,200 ft over look on the Bear Tooth Pass. We went over on Memorial Day weekend. The pass just opened up and there was deep snow banks as went over the top. Went into Cook City and then took Chief Joseph Scenic Byway into Cody Wy. First time through the mountains and now I cannot wait to do Colorado.
