Wow that was some adventure. I really enjoyed your photo's. Seems you had the trip planned out very well. I might have to do something similar. Thanks for sharing.

Besides deciding to spend a week in Utah and going up Pikes Peak, we really didn't have much else planned, an iPhone helps to find things around us as we went. We didn't have a reservation at a campground on a single night. Actually the original plan was to only go to Zion, UT and come back, but we changed it a couple day's before we left and decided to make a run into California.

I guess this goes against the norm because most people I know have to have everything planned out to the max. When it comes to a motorcycle trip for me I like to have options, i.e. if the weather is good ride longer, raining all day? maybe go to a hotel. See a cool place to go, then go. Out of all the trips we have been on there have only been a couple times when places are full. If they are then ride a little more and find something else.

Incredible trip and the pictures were amazing - thanks a lot for sharing it all with us!

Next time you get out to the southwest, you have to hit the Antelope Slot Canyon. It cost about $20/person, but it was worth it - the pics were great

What a road trip!!!! You have quite the wife there..

My wife starting reading and saw the tent and looked at me and said "no way" ha ha

the camelback showers wouldn't go over very well either.
