#12
Sorry for the delay guys, I just got back from a 5 day trip to OBX and Tail of The Dragon. I'll post pics from that too later.
Yes the bridge was at Royal Gorge.
Thanks for the positive feedback, like I said earlier I have more pics on our site found here http://softailscenery.weebly.com/dc-to-ca.html
Day 6: Million Dollar Highway, Ouray Hot Springs
First thing first, enjoy the hot springs
After a couple hours soaking in the pool we started to headed south down Rt. 550, and we paused to take some pics of this waterfall
Lots of other bikes enjoying this beautiful road
Don't mess up, that's straight down
Couple boogies on our 6
We both really enjoyed the area, and hope to go back soon
Made a stop at the Worlds Highest Harley store
Ran into these guys strolling down the road
Ending the day right with some fresh grilled pork and steak w/ PBR....don't judge
Day 6 Total: 83 Miles

I try not to, it gets in the way of riding...hahaha
Day 8: Canyonlands, UT to Moab, UT
Waking up to this nice view
We wanted to do a short hike and decided to go first thing before it got too hot. Riding down a dirt road to get to it
The hike was called Cowboy camp, and it actually had stuff that cowboys used up till 1975
View from the top
Enough of that, let's ride to Moab
Along the way we did a tour of this 5,000 sq. ft. home inside the rock...but no pictures allowed inside the home please...
We set up camp off of 279 by the Colorado River, then headed over to Arches NP
I met a guy from Maryland at Arches and he gave me some pointers on taking better night shots, guess it helped, here's what I got
Balanced Rock

Day 9: Colorado River Rafting, Moab, UT
We got an early start and rode up to the Island in the Sky part of Canyonlands and snagged a campsite, we had plans to go on a raft trip in the afternoon.
Riding back toward Moab to go on a raft ride
Here is Jake, our guide for the day, we ended up being the only people on the boat so it was very relaxing
We all decided to go for a swim in the Colorado River, Jake got back in the boat before it got away
Another view
After our rafting adventure we went back to Arches and got a couple more pics
Then we chilled at our site and watched the stars
Star gazing

The best pics are taken with our Canon Rebal T2i, some are GoPro...kinda wide-angle looking ones, and some are with an iPhone.
I think some point and click cameras have the ability to do night shots like these, but I couldn't tell you how much they are. Canon is up to a T5i now, so you might be able to pick up an older model like mine for under 500 bucks. Check Amazon, seems like a lot of money for a camera, but I think it's worth it. There is a learning curve to the higher end camera's. I'm still unsure of all that it can do, but am getting better the more I use it. Def. a fun hobby that works well with riding motorcycles.

Thanks!
Day 10: Moab Side-by-side rental and Dead Horse State Park
We wanted to do some kinda 4x4 adventure and settled on renting a side-by-side to explore Moab a little deeper. They let us take it out for 5.5 hours, and was really fun
Then we rode over toward Dead Horse State Park, I think they filmed Thelma & Louise as well as a couple other movies near there.
Pretty awesome
Headed back out of the park and toward another campsite, we hadn't picked one out yet but we had passed a couple empty one's on the way to the park
Day 10 Total: 121 mi.
