What's up all. The summer is slipping away and I still haven't gotten any serious riding done yet. I brought a 2013 Ultra and she wants to take a long trip before being put away for the winter. I have never been down to the Dragon tail and was going to go the week of Labor day. I live in New York (Long Island) and was wondering if anyone would be interested in doing a week trip down in that area. I was going to leave that weekend and have the whole week to get lost and explore. If interested please let me know.

 

We will be starting the Blueridge Parkway on the 4th of Sept and riding to the Dragon. We plan on 2 or 3 days from Front Royal to the Dragon. If our schedules work out we could meet for a drink or bite, and ride along together. PM me if you are interested and if that time frame will work.

We are going to be in Gettysburg on the evening of the 1st and then head to Front Royal via Antietam and Harper' Ferry on the 3rd.

Hi Bill, where is Front Royal? I probably will be leaving NY on Aug 31st. I am not sure if I am going to trail the bike (trailer queen) or ride down. If I had people to ride with I would ride all the way down and ride back together.

 

Front Royal, Va. is the start of the Blueridge Parkway. It's about 105 miles South and West of Gettysburg.

We are leaving Milwalkee on the 31st and plan to be in Gettysburg on the evening of the 1st.
